BIR Charges Tax Evasion Againts Cedric Lee

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has filed tax evasion cases against Cedric Lee and two other officials of Izumo Contractors Inc.
The bureau is running after almost P194.47 million tax liabilities.
Aside from Lee who is the President and CEO, the company’s Chief Operating Officer John King and Chief Financial Officer Judy Gutierrez Lee will face charges for their willful attempt to evade or defeat tax and deliberate failure to supply accurate information in the annual income tax return for taxable years 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Lee is a co-accused in the mauling of actor-host Vhong Navarro.
BIR admitted, their curiosity of his wealth was provoked when the businessman disputed Navarro’s claim they tried to extort money from the actor.
